even left-leaning student organizations have announced that they will contest the upcoming Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) election under a joint panel named Protirodh Parishad.
From this panel, Sheikh Tasnim Afroze Imi, former vice president of Shamsunnahar Hall, will run for the post of Vice President (VP). For the General Secretary (GS) post, candidate Meghmallar Basu, president of Bangladesh Students’ Union’s DU unit, has been nominated.
