When will national polls of Bangladesh be taken place?

The 12th national parliamentary election will be taken place in the first week of January next year, said election commissioner Md Anisur Rahman.

The election commissioner spoke at an event at the Election Training Institute in capital’s Agargaon on Saturday.

But he did not mention any date.

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal inaugurated the first phase of the Training of Trainers (TOT) program.

The training of election officials which started on Saturday and that will continue till November 30. 

Some 3,500 Election Commission-trained experts will train about 900,000 polling officials at the field level.
