The court granted a three-day remand to Evaly MD Mohammad Russell and his wife Shamima Nasrin. Gulshan police on Friday produced a 10-day remand in the capital's CMM court.
They were taken to court around 2 pm on Friday (September 17). Gulshan police inspector (investigation) Aminul Islam confirmed the matter to the media. He said they were taken to court at 3 pm for a remand hearing.
Earlier, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) handed them over to Gulshan Police Station from the RAB headquarters at around 1pm. Gulshan Police Station OC Abul Hossain confirmed the information to media. They were then taken to court on remand.
In this regard, OC Abul Hossain said that they were taken to the court by requesting remand for interrogation in the case in which they were arrested.
