A residential structure in the Uttara neighborhood of the city caught fire on Saturday evening.
Around 6:45 p.m., the fire started on the fifth level of Sector 9 Building No. 22, and it quickly spread.
On information, three fire engines from Uttara station hurried to the scene and brought the blaze under control, said Shahjahan Sikder, deputy assistant director of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters Media Cell.
He said that no injuries had been reported.
