The customs intelligence team detained an Indian national who was in possession of 1,800 grams of cocaine with her at Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka early Saturday.
An official from customs intelligence confirmed the media that Salome Lalramdhari, 48, is a hailer of Mizoram, held at around 2:00 am.
She was arrested from a flight (QR-638) coming from Casablanca, Morocco via Doha, Qatar.
A press release in this regard, said that the market value of seized cocaine is approximately Tk 12 crore, and the detainee has been handed over to the Airport Police Station.
