2-day Cumilla flood claims 4 death

At least four people have died over the past two days due to rain and flooding in Cumilla district. 

On August 21, three fatalities occurred: two people were electrocuted, and one was killed by a falling tree. 

The fourth death happened on August 19, when an individual drowned.

According to media reports, the victims include Keramat Ali, 45, who drowned in floodwater at Nangalkot on Wednesday night; Rafi, 15, who was electrocuted by an electric pillar in Chotara on Wednesday afternoon; Shahadat Hossain, 34, who was struck by a tree while fishing in Chauddagram on Wednesday morning; and Sohrab Hossain Sohag, a lawyer who was electrocuted at Salauddin intersection in Cumilla city on Monday after coming into contact with a live wire in rainwater.
