The website of Bangladesh Chhatra League (bsl.org.bd) appeared to have been hacked on Thursday.
Instead of its usual content detailing ruling party`s student wing Chhatra League and its activities, the homepage now displays an image featuring unidentified individuals, accompanied by messages concerning the ongoing quota protests.
As of 6:30 PM, the website remained in this altered state. The messages are directed towards both the general public and political parties.
At the top of the website, a statement reads "Hacked by The Resistance."
Clicking on any part of the website now directs users to a Telegram channel named Operation Huntdown.
