Celebrated elocutionist Hasan Arif passes away

Elocutionist and General Secretary of Sammilito Sangskritike Jote, Hasan Arif, passed away on Friday at 1:50 pm.

He was undergoing treatment in Bangladesh Specialized Hospital.

The news of his death was confirmed to the media by Ghulam Kuddus, President of Sommilito Sanskritik Jote.

After the artist suffered from a heart attack last December, 2022, he was on life-support.

Prior to his heart attack, he donated his body to science. It will be handed over to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical after the completion of all rituals. 

Hasan Arif's Namaz-e-Janaza will be held post Zuhr prayers.
