At the same time yesterday, country’s minimum temperature was recorded at 8.7 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Panchagarh.
The district is experiencing thick fog and cold waves as the temperature continues to decrease.
The roads continue to be covered in fog all day, and people can only see the sun for a moment in the afternoon. The temperature starts to drop as evening falls.
The thick fog causes people on the roads to get wet, so they burn straws to keep themselves warm. The poor are unable to get out of their houses.
