Addressing a gathering during the inauguration of a complex at the Artillery Center and School in Chattogram`s Halishahar cantonment on Sunday, the Prime Minister reiterated the significance of the country`s training institutes on the global stage. Stressing the need for modernized training while upholding dignity, she emphasized keeping pace with global advancements.
"We must stay abreast of global developments," Sheikh Hasina asserted, highlighting the active participation of Bangladesh`s armed forces in UN peacekeeping missions alongside their international counterparts.
She called for advancing the armed forces through modern training to establish a highly skilled military force equipped with contemporary knowledge. Emphasizing the professional competence, dedication, and patriotism of the armed forces, she expressed confidence in their ability to uphold dignity worldwide.
PM Hasina emphasized the importance of winning the trust and confidence of the people, noting that a country`s armed forces can triumph in war under such conditions. Underlining Bangladesh`s foreign policy of seeking friendly relations with all nations, she reiterated the nation`s stance in favor of Palestine amid the ongoing conflict with Israel.
