The HSC and equivalent examinations scheduled for July 21, 23, and 25 have been postponed, according to a notification signed by Prof Tapan Kumar Sarkar, chairman of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Education Board.
The rescheduled dates for these examinations will be announced later.
Other examinations will proceed as per the previously announced schedule starting from July 28, as mentioned in the notification.
Today`s HSC and equivalent examinations were also postponed earlier due to ongoing developments related to the quota reform movement, which has resulted in clashes across various parts of the country.
In response to the situation, all public and private universities had already been closed, and educational institutions from secondary to higher secondary levels under the Ministry of Education, along with polytechnic institutes and primary schools in city corporation areas, have also been declared closed until further notice.
