A group of Dhaka University (DU) teachers from the BNP-backed white panel organized a sit-in, in front of Curzon Hall, lasting approximately 45 minutes.

The protest began around 1:00 pm after police prevented them from proceeding to the courts as originally planned.

By 1:15 pm, students from various institutions, including BUET and DU, had joined the teachers in their demonstration.

The sit-in concluded around 2:00 pm, with some students marching towards the Central Shaheed Minar.

This action was part of the "March for Justice" organized by the Anti-Discrimination Students‍‍` Movement.

The protest aims to address issues such as mass killings, arrests, attacks, and disappearances affecting students and other citizens across the country.

Participants chanted slogans including "Amar bhai bhitore, tumi keno bahire" and "We want justice."

The "March for Justice" program was announced by quota reform protest organizers yesterday, targeting educational institutions, court premises, and major roads to advocate for their nine-point demands.
