Leaders of the quota reform movement have rejected government negotiations, asserting that the movement will persist until their demands are met.

In a Facebook post, Hasnat Abdullah, a coordinator of the quota movement, stated, ""No discussion through stepping onto blood."

Another leader, Asif Mahmud, emphasized, "Dialogue cannot happen amidst bullets. I would choose death over betrayal."

He further explained, "On one side, there are bullets; on the other, calls for dialogue. We cannot sit for talks while our brothers‍‍` blood is spilled."

Earlier, movement leaders accused the government of escalating the country‍‍`s law and order situation into violence, noting the movement had been peaceful prior to government intervention.

"We will continue our protests until our demands are realized," affirmed Asif Mahmud, another coordinator of the quota reform movement.

He added, "The people of this country have surrounded those who tried to suppress us. No conspiracy can derail our movement."
