Most of the country, including the capital Dhaka, is covered in fog on Monday since Morning.
The lowest temperature of this winter season was recorded in the capital this morning, that was around 12.1 degree Celsius, said Bangladesh Meteorological Department .
A total of 21 districts including almost all the districts of Rajshahi and Rangpur division are affected by cold wave.

The minimum temperature of the country on Sunday was recorded at three places simultaneously. Those places are – Rajshahi, Ishwardi and Badalgachi. The minimum temperature recorded was 9.5 degrees Celsius.
Meteorologist Omar Farooq of Department of Meteorology told the media this morning that the temperature of Dhaka was recorded at 12.3 degrees Celsius. But around 1pm the website of the government agency stated it was 12.1 degree Celsius. This is the lowest temperature of this winter season in the capital city.
However, in Nikli, an area under Kishoreganj district under Dhaka division, as many as 10 degree Celsius temperature has been recorded by the Met Department.
The minimum temperature of Dhaka has dropped by more than two degrees Celsius today in a span of 24 hours. The minimum temperature of Dhaka yesterday was 14.4 degrees Celsius.
