Three Palestinian males were slain by the Israeli army during a massive raid on the Balata refugee camp in the northern occupied West Bank city of Nablus.
The three people killed on Monday morning have been identified by the Palestinian Health Ministry as Muhammad Abu Zaytoun, 32, Fathi Abu Rizk, 30, and Abdullah Abu Hamdan, 24.
According to the ministry, at least seven additional Palestinians were hurt, including four who were hit by live bullets, while numerous others inhaled tear gas.
On Monday afternoon, hundreds of Palestinians attended the funeral procession for the three men who died, reports Al Jazeera.
The raid on Monday was referred to as a "massacre" by Nabil Abu Rudeineh, the Palestinian Authority (PA) presidency`s spokesman.
"The continuous aggression against the city of Nablus, its villages, and refugee camps by the occupation forces and extremist settlers, is a major war crime and collective punishment that must end immediately," he said in a statement.
Several hundred Israeli soldiers and members of the special forces took part in the attack, which lasted from around 1am (22:00 GMT on Sunday) until 5am (02:00 GMT).
Bulldozers used by Israeli soldiers to blockade the camp`s entrances and destroy some homes. Residents who also claimed the deployment of anti-tank grenades said they also damaged some units.
