Aman Ullah Aman, who led the attack on the killing of a policeman at a BNP rally, was arrested from Mohakhali bus stand by a team of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) Department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police. Joint general secretary of BNP Central Chhatra Dal and former member secretary of Dhaka University Chhatra Dal Md. Aman Ullah Aman did this on the orders of the party high command.
In the initial interrogation, it is known that on 28th October, with the instructions of the central leaders of BNP and Chhatra Dal, he and his followers stood next to the Nayapaltan center platform. The directives of the BNP and Chhatra Dal central leaders on stage were to break the morale of the police through brutal and brutal attacks on the police, creating an unstable environment in the country.
Clashes broke out between police and BNP men at the rally in Kakrail on that day. Taking advantage of the conflict in Kakrail, on the instructions of the high command leaders of BNP and Chhatra Dal, he marched with a large section of Chhatra Dal to attack the police through the lane next to Victory Hotel near the BNP party office in Naya Paltan.
Under his guidance, this section of the Chhatra Dal began throwing bricks at the police. In self-defence, the policeman shot tear gas shells in an attempt to repel the Chhatra Dal attack.
To protect life and property and minimize damage, policemen refrain from using lethal weapons and showed maximum tolerance. At this stage, a large number of policemen were stationed at the DR Tower on the east side of Box Culvert Road.
During this time, his followers, led by him, continued to attack the policemen. When police constable Amirul Islam Parvez fell down on the road after being hit by the thrown brick, Aman continued to hit the constable with a baton with the intention of killing him very brutally.
Constable Amirul Islam Parvez lost consciousness and his body was lying on the road in a blood-soaked state. He suffered serious injuries.
The protesters continued to brutally beat the body of Constable Parvez to ensure his death. Later, after confirming the death of Constable Amirul Islam Parvez, Aman left the scene along with his followers through the west side of Box Culvert Road.
