Taslima Nasreen claims to become victim of medical crime

Taslima Nasrin, an exiled author of Bangladesh, claims that a hospital in India committed a medical crime by treating her improperly after she allegedly broke a bone in her leg.

She said that despite the X-ray report not showing any femur fracture, medical staff performed a total hip replacement surgery on her.

Taslima Nasreen, who is also a physician, took to Twitter handle to claim that she has been a victim of a medical crime.

“I came to a city private hospital to treat my knee pain after I fell on my knee. I never had any joint pain or any joint disease. But my total hip replacement was done,” She tweeted on Thursday.

The author made some very serious accusations, claiming that a private hospital in New Delhi had deceived her into receiving a critical surgery that she didn't need, leaving her permanently handicapped.

Nasreen said she went in for a knee injury and had her hip bones cut out and replaced by an artificial structure, all for money.

She continued by saying that the surgeon had wronged her by intimidating her into having the surgery.
