In the last 24 hours till Sunday morning, Bangladesh has recorded 173 cases of COVID-19 and no deaths from the viral disease
The latest figures took the total caseload to to 2,009,970, with the death toll remaining static at 29,315, acording to the health authorities.
As many as 4,603 samples were tested across the country, for a positivity rate of 3.76 percent.
Among the eight divisions, Dhaka logged the highest number of cases, with 149 infections.
Another 372 people recovered from the illness nationwide, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,953,740.
The latest figures put the recovery rate at 97.20 percent and the mortality rate at 1.46 percent.
