The COVID-19 vaccination series must be completed by pilgrims at least ten days before the beginning of the Hajj season, according to a statement from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
The announcement was made in response to a tweet on the Ministry's official account questioning whether receiving the third dose of COVID-19 was necessary for performing the Hajj.
According to the Ministry, receiving all required vaccinations is a requirement for issuing the Hajj permit. The application process for the Hajj permit begins on May, 5 (Shawwal, 15).
The deadline has been set for 30th April for the payment of the third and final installment of a domestic pilgrim's Hajj reservation, which represents 40% of the authorized package fees.
Registration for the Hajj 1444 began on April 3 for those who have not participated in the rituals in at least five years,
Applications may be filed via the Ministry's official website or the Nusuk app. The application deadline for this year's Hajj is June 25 (Dhu Al Hijjah 7).
