Popular stand-up comedian Abu Hena Rony, who along wth four others had sustained burn injuries in a gas blast on the fourth founding anniversary event of the Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP), is still not out of danger.
National Coordinator at Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute Dr Samant Lal Sen updated the matter on Sunday afternoon.
The observation came in a meeting of the medical board for the treatment of Abu Hena Roni and constable Md Zillur Rahman.
"Roni and Zillur sustained more than 15% burns, and we can't say they are out of danger yet," said Dr Sen.
The GMP event was held on Gazipur District Police Lines ground on Friday evening.
