A Dhaka court placed Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman on remand for three days again for an alleged link to militancy.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Syed Mostafa Reza Nur passed the order on Wednesday.
The Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit inspector Md Abul Bashar produced him before the court and sought 8-day remand.
Earlier on December 13, the court granted seven-day remand in a case filed with Jatrabari police station.
