Miscreants set fire to a Projapati Paribahan bus in Dhaka’s Mirpur on Saturday night.
The incident happened at 11:38 pm on Saturday, confirmed Talha bin Zasim, station officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence (media cell).
Two firefighting units from Mirpur Fire Station went to the spot to douse the fire, he said.
Earleir on Saturday night, miscreants set four buses on fire in the capital`s Jatrabari, Gulistan, Gabtoli and Notre Dame College areas ahead of the countrywide 48-hour blockade to be enforced by BNP and like-minded opposition parties from Sunday morning.
