A student of University of Information Technology and Science, who was hurt in a car accident on September 13 passed away on Monday morning.
The deceased was identified as Ananya Chowdhury Phul, 21, daughter of Abdullah of East Basabo in the capital's Khilgaon.
She was a first-year student in the university's BBA department.
Ananya passed away on Monday at 10 am while undergoing treatment at the hospital, according to the DMCH source.
A mini truck hit Ananya as she was walking to her house on September 13 at around 12 pm, causing major head injuries, according to the victim's cousin Sayed Farhad Islam.
