3 hanged bodies recovered from multiple spots in Dhaka

 

Police have recovered three hanged bodies from separate areas in the capital.

The deceased were identified as Sadia (16) from Shantinagar, Biddut from Manda and Rinvi Akter of Rampura.

Sadia hails from Faridpur. Her Father is Saidul Islam. Sadia used to work as a homemade for months at a house in Shantinagar area. On Saturday she was alone in the house.

The house owner along with his family went to Narayanganj to attend a function. When they returned home they found the door closed from inside. They broke into the house along with the security guard after Sadia was called repeatedly.

Her body was found hanging with a ceiling fan. Later they called the police station.

Sub-Inspector Anisur Rahman of Paltan police station said, the demise was guessed to be a suicide. However, details can be disclosed based on autopsy report and investigation.

Biddut resided with his grandparents at 35/1 house at Khalpar area in North Manda of Mugda. His fater is late Kamal Hossain, hails from Nababganj in Dhaka.

Biddut’s ucle Kalam said, the former used to work as a mason helper. He was addicted to drug abuse. On Saturday, he left the house soon after he finished his supper. Sensing rat his uncle Kalam went out to find him after a while. He found Biddut’s body hanging with a water pipe at 4th floor of the building. Later, they informed police and they recovered his body.

Meanwhile, Rinvi’s uncle Shahidul Islam said, her husband is a US expatriate. She used to live with her parents at a house in Taltola of Rampura. She committed suicide hanging herself with a ceiling fan on Saturday night after she altercated with her mother. Relatives rescued her body and took to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where physicians declared her dead.

DMC police camp incharge Md. Bacchu Mia said, police handed over Rinvi’s body to the family without any autopsy on family request. The two other bodies have been kept at the DMC mortuary.
