Police Headquarters has appointed Barrister Mo. Harun ur Rashid as the new Director General of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), replacing M Khurshid Hossain.
The announcement came through a notification issued by the Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday (May 29).
According to the signed notification by Secretary Mo. Mahbubur Rahman Sheikh, the order will be effective from June 5.
Barrister Mo. Harun ur Rashid will assume the responsibilities of the Additional Inspector General of Police Headquarters.
