Newly appointed attorney general AM Amin Uddin paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, placing wreaths at his grave in Tungipara upazila of Gopalganj on Saturday noon.
He also offered prayers at his grave seeking eternal peace of departed souls of Bangabandhu and the martyrs of the August 15, 1975 massacre.
Among others, deputy attorney generals MA Kamrul Hasan Khan Aslam, Saifuzzaman, Mohammad Monirul Islam, Sarwar Hossain Bappi, Wares Al Haruni, Rezaul Karim, Tungipara upazila chairman Solaiman Biswas, Tungipara UNO Md Nakib Hasan Tarafdar, among others, were present there.
