Metro rail services will remain suspended on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr and will resume the following day according to the regular schedule.
Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) issued a notice in this regard on Monday.
The notice said metro train operations will remain closed on Eid day and from the next day onward, trains will run following the existing schedule.
The decision has been taken considering the Eid holiday arrangements, the notice added.
