Putin congratulates President Mirza Fakhrul

Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on his election, wishing him success in carrying out his responsibilities for the welfare of the people of Bangladesh.

The Russian Embassy in Dhaka said Putin conveyed his heartfelt greetings and best wishes in a congratulatory message to Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir following his election as president.

In the message, Putin wished President Mirza Fakhrul good health and personal well-being, as well as success in his future efforts for the welfare of the friendly people of Bangladesh.

The Russian president’s message reflects the longstanding friendly and mutually cooperative relations between Bangladesh and Russia.
