The death toll from COVID-19 rose by five to 29,380 over the 24-hour period.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh has recorded 491 cases of COVID-19 in a day, taking the overall tally of infections to 2,029,015.
According to the government data, as many as 4,912 samples were tested across the country, for a positivity rate of 10.00 percent.
Among the eight divisions, Dhaka logged the highest number of cases, with 395 infections.
Another 701 people recovered from the illness nationwide, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,968,654.
The latest figures put the recovery rate at 97.03 percent and the mortality rate at 1.45 percent.
