As new OTT productions are engulfing the Bangladeshi content market, popular Bangladeshi private television channel NTV has also joined the new wave. ‘Shot Maa,’ the first NTV original series will be available to stream on NTV website from Thursday (July 29).
The 28-episode-long web series, co-written by Kazi Riton and Mezbah Uddin Sumon, can be streamed free on NTV’s official website or their official YouTube channel.
The series stars Zakia Bari Mamo, Abdun Noor Shajal and Shahed Ali Sujon in central roles.
Mamo will play the lead role of the character ‘Shot maa’ or stepmother. Her character's name is Neela, who became a stepmother of a child at the age of 26 without being a mother. Abdun Noor Shajal’s character will be seen in the role of a medical representative in the series.
NTV has already produced four upcoming original web series for their new OTT project and will release them soon.
