The ‘Star Wars’ franchise will enter the anime world with a new anthology series titled 'Star Wars: Visions.' The series is scheduled to release on Disney+ on September 22. The announcement came from a joint press statement from Lucasfilm and Disney on Sunday (July 4).
The first look teaser of the project was also released on YouTube on the same day.
Major Japanese anime studios will collaborate on the project.
‘Visions’ will be a completely different anthology series. Its storyline will not collide with the ongoing ‘Star Wars’ series called ‘Mandalorian’ streaming on Disney+.
This is will be an experimental project by Disney+ and Lucas Films.
