Spanish World Cup winning star Sergio Ramos has announced his retirement from international football.
In a tweet, the footballer who played the most matches in the history of Spain confirmed his retirement.
Ramos last played for the national team in March 2021.
The defender has been irregular in the national team since he missed Euro 2020 due to injury.
The 36-year-old footballer, who played a role in Spain`s first World Cup win in 2010, did not have a place in the last World Cup in Qatar.
