More than Twenty years have passed since Prince Mahmud, the well-known music director, composer, and lyricist, and Maqsoodul Haque, a renowned singer-musician-lyricist, last collaborated on a song, "Keno Mon Niye Eto Dao Jontrona" from the 1996 mixed album "Khoma”.
The new song "Shatey-Panchey" is by Maqsood, the lead singer of the band and a founding member of the band named Feedback, written by Prince Mahmud and music given by Sajid Sarkar.
Samuel Haque wrote the song's lyrics, and Nazmus Sadat Nayem directed the music video.
The song is going to be released during EID-Ul-AZHA and is from the music label G-series.
Prince Mahmud shared through a Facebook post about the music video and said, this recent collaboration has an interesting backdrop.
Price Mahmud announced his latest collaboration with Maqsood and expressed his gratitude for the love he has received in his previous Facebook post and wrote “Felt good by receiving this heartwarming responses from all of you. Hopefully everyone likes the new song, keep us in your payers.”
