With the incorporation of some new voters from the previous year, the final updated electoral roll from the Election Commission shows that there are now 11,91,51,440 registered voters in the country.
On the occasion of National Voter Day, the EC released the most recent voter data this morning.
A total of 58,64,430 new voters were added to the country's voter list, according to the EC factsheet.
As many as 6,04,45,724 men and 5,87,04,879 women will able to cast ballots in total.
In addition, 837 transgender voters were added to the revised roll under the identity of the third gender.
