A record number of candidates are going to participate in the 41st BCS Preliminary Examination which will be held on Friday following the health rules. This number is 4 lakh 75 thousand. Public Service Commission (SC) sources said that if a candidate has a high temperature in one of the centres, he has been instructed to take another test.
PSC chairman Sohrab Hossain confirmed the matter to media on Wednesday afternoon, saying, "We have made all kinds of preparations. We have also given some instructions for those who will be at the centre. All in all, we are very well prepared. '(Source: Prothom Alo)
Last Tuesday, the 41st BCS of PSC issued a number of guidelines for the management of the centre. The guidelines state that adequate lighting and ventilation should be ensured during each test. Examiners should arrange for hand washing or sanitiser outside the examination hall. The test hall must have a non-contact infrared thermometer to measure body temperature at the time of entry. There should be a disinfectant system in each test room and control room.
According to the 11 guidelines, all areas of educational institutions should be cleaned and disinfected. Posters with hygiene messages should be promoted through festoons. The waiting crowd has to be controlled and in that case, the cooperation of law enforcement can be taken.

Candidates should maintain a distance of at least three feet and specify a place to stand with a round mark if necessary. No candidate can enter without a mask. There should be a distance of at least three feet between the two candidates in the seating arrangement. Public gatherings outside the examination hall should be avoided.
