An earthquake shook capital Dhaka and other parts of the country on Monday evening around 8:49pm.
According to USGS data, the epicenter of the earthquake was seven kilometers away from Kanighat in Sylhet district.
USGS said, the 5.5 magnitude earthquake also shook India, Myanmar, Bhutan.
However, the origin of the quake was reportedly in Assam, India.
However, no casualty was reported in this incident.
