After a long closure for over a year and a half due to the coronavirus pandemic, Benapole Express will resume operations on the Dhaka-Benapole route starting December 2.
A letter has been issued in this regard which has reached the Benapole railway station authorities. All preparations have been completed to resume the train service.
A letter signed by Abdul Awal, Assistant Chief Operating Superintendent, Bangladesh Railway has reached the station master Saiduzzaman.
Station Master Saiduzzaman confimed the matter to the media on Monday (November 29).
The train will operate as like before the pandemic on all days of the week (from Kamalapur Railway station at 1:00 pm and 10:30 pm) except on Tuesdays.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the Benapole Express train on July 17, 2019 on the Benapole-Dhaka route.
