After a hiatus of nearly 20 months, Biman Bangladesh is set to resume its Dhaka-Manchester flight via Sylhet from next Saturday (December 30).
According to Biman press release, on December 25, Biman's flight BG-207 will fly from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) at 12:30 pm and reach Sylhet at 1:10 pm, after that the flight is scheduled to fly from Sylhet to Manchester at 2:15pm and it will reach Manchester at 8:00 pm (local time).
With its Boeing Dreamliner aircraft, the national flag carrier will ply on the route twice per week (Thursday and Sunday).
In March 2020, Biman suspended flight operations on the route on the onset of the global Covid-19 pandemic.
The released also mentioned that all flights will be operated maintaining the health protocols of the two countries.
