The senior member of the BNP Standing Committee and former Minister Prof. Dr. Khandkar Mosharraf Hossain has been admitted to Evercare Hospital in the capital. He is currently under intensive observation in the CCU.
He was taken to the hospital when he suddenly felt physically ill at around 3:30 am yesterday.
Khandaker Mahbub Hossain Tushar, the eldest son of Khandaker Mosharraf, said that when his father felt suddenly ill at night, he consulted Cardiology Specialist Professor Dr. Shahabuddin Ahmed of Evercare Hospital. At this time, the BNP chairperson`s personal physician Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain was also present at the hospital.
On behalf of the family, he asked the countrymen to pray for the well-being of this senior BNP leader.
