Bodies of twin infants recovered from pond in Khulna

Police recovered the bodies of two-month old twin sisters Moni and Mukta from a pond in Kushtia's Kushla union. 

The incident was reported on Friday from the Kushla union in Terkhada. 

The matter was confirmed to the press by Officer In-Charge (OC) Md Zahurul Alam of the Terkhada police station.

The twins were found dead at around 6:30 am, more than four hours after they went missing from their mother’s bedroom, the police told the media quoting local residents.
