Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) has issued a set of directives ahead of the celebration of the 31st night aiming to avert any untoward situation.
Police declared to take stern action if anyone defies the guidelines.
The directives include a bar on visiting Patenga or Parki sea beaches.
Visitors have been asked to refrain from visiting the beaches from Friday evening to Saturday morning.
No firecrackers would be allowed even on rooftop ground.
Additional members of law enforcing agencies have been deployed to ensure foolproof security in the city.
