Court postpones  Sinha graft case verdict, again

The verdict in the case against 11 people, including former Chief Justice Surendra Kumar (SK) Sinha, has been postponed once again by the court till November 9.

Judge Sheikh Nazmul Alam of Dhaka Special Judge's Court-4 set the date on Thursday (October 21).

Earlier, on October 5, acting judge of Dhaka Special Judge's Court-4 Ali Hossain fixed October 21 for the verdict. However, Judge Sheikh Nazmul Alam postponed the date due to illness and fixed October 21 for the next verdict.

Earlier, the same court had fixed October 5 for pronouncement of the verdict after presenting arguments of the state and the accused on September 14.

On October 13, 2017, SK Sinha left the country on leave due to physical illness. After that he did not return to the country.
