Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested five youths on suspicion of involvement in the militant organisation.
The detention was made after law enforcers cordoned off a militant hideout at Swamibag area in the capital on Thursday (December 9).
RAB's Legal and Media Wing Director Khandaker Al Moin confirmed the matter to media.
He said a team of RAB-3 cordoned off a home of 59 No. colony this afternoon and later detained five people from there.
The detainees will be questioned, and later, legal action will be taken about them, he said.
"It was primarily learned that they are involved with the anti-state conspiracy. Details in this regard would be informed tomorrow," the official added.
