Foreign Affairs Adviser Md. Touhid Hossain extended his heartfelt Christmas greetings to the Christian community on Wednesday.
His visit to Kakrail Church in Dhaka brought together members of the Christian faith, where he shared festive wishes and participated in the celebrations.
During the visit, the Adviser highlighted Bangladesh`s longstanding tradition of religious harmony. He emphasized that peaceful coexistence among different faiths is a cornerstone of the country`s culture, saying,
"This is the most important aspect of our culture, and we are proud that there is no religious conflict in our country. We all wish to live together in peace."
Joining the occasion were several notable figures, including Farooq-e-Azam, Adviser to the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs, Archbishop Bijoy N. D`Cruz, and Father Albert Rosario.
The gathering was a warm display of unity and goodwill, underscoring the spirit of Christmas and the shared commitment to peace and understanding across different communities in Bangladesh.
