Globe Biotech Limited, the manufacturer of the corona vaccine 'Bangavax', has claimed that it is 100% effective. Globe Biotech made this claim in a report submitted to the Bangladesh Medical Research Council (BMRC) on Monday afternoon (November 1).
Recently, the results of the test conducted on the body of the monkey as per the instructions of the BMRC. Following the submission of the report, the Globe Biotech Authority hopes that the next step will be to approve the human body test soon.
That being said, the Bangavax vaccine is made with natural pure mRNA, so it has the potential to be the safest and most effective. The Bangavax vaccine is single dose. If the vaccine is allowed, there will be demand abroad.
Globe Biotech Senior Manager (Quality and Regulatory) said. Mohammad Mohiuddin said the vaccine was tested on rats and found to be 95 percent effective. The vaccine is also proven to be 100% safe.
Later, the vaccine was tested on monkeys as per the instructions of BMRC. Preliminary results show that the vaccine is able to produce completely safe and effective antibodies in the monkey's body. The monkey's body was then subjected to another test called the Challenge Trial.
This test proved that Bangavax vaccine on several Covid-19 strains. The results show that the vaccine is 100% effective in almost all the coronavirus mutations.
