Protesters have placed 3-point demand to ensure a student-friendly environment at public transports.
The agitating students gathered at the Bakshibazar intersection in the capital on Sunday (November 21) and pressed the demands.
The demands include half pass for students at all public transports, ensuring justice against the driver and helper of a Thikana bus service who threatened a Badrunnesa college student of rape and ensuring a student-friendly environment at all transports.
The protesters also threatened to launch a tougher movement unless the Thikana bus drive and helper are not arrested within 24 hours.
Earlier in the day, the students blockaded the Bakshibazar intersection. Apart from Badruneesa college, students Dhaka University-affiliated seven colleges took part in the protest.
