A massive fire broke out at a clothing warehouse in the Bhanga area of Dhaka’s Demra late on Thursday night.
However, no casualties were reported immediately.
The blaze immediately spread throughout the building while the reason for the fire was unknown while dispatching the report.
Ten firefighting units were still working to extinguish the blaze as of 5am today, according to media reports.
The fire started on the second floor of a three-storey building around 11:30pm. The floor housed a clothing warehouse and units from fire stations in Demra, Postagola and Siddiquebazar were dispatched to the location when the blaze was reported.
Explosions were heard from the facility, with smoke billowing out of it.
