Bangladesh is preparing to play a full series against Ireland after whitewashing England. The Tigers are taking the field in the first match of the three-match ODI series against the Irish on March 18 at the Sylhet International Stadium.
A day before the start of the series, the Bangladesh team set their foot in Sylhet. There they started practicing at Sylhet International Stadium. The Tigers were playing football as part of practice at that time. In the middle of the game, suddenly a severe kick from the pacer Hasan Mahmood hit the chest of the spin all-rounder Mehedi Hasan Miraj.
The all-rounder who showed great performance in the England series was immediately taken to the hospital after the physiotherapist from Bangladesh team, Baijidul Islam examined him.
On the other hand, it has been reported that Tamim Iqbal, the captain of the Tigers' ODI team, has been suffering from fever for a few days. However, Tamim will be on the field from the first match of the series despite of the illness.
