Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is set to visit Tangail on Pohela Boishakh to inaugurate the Farmers’ Card distribution program.
According to the schedule, he will depart by road at 8:00 AM and is expected to arrive in Tangail at 10:00 AM. Upon arrival, he will first visit the shrine of Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani in Santosh.
At 10:30 AM, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the nationwide pre-piloting of the “Farmers’ Card” program at Shaheed Maruf Stadium in Tangail and address a farmers’ rally. Later, at 12:15 PM, he will inaugurate an agricultural fair at the municipal park.
These details were confirmed through a schedule signed by the Prime Minister’s Protocol Officer, Ujjal Hossain.
The visit has generated widespread enthusiasm across Tangail district. Agriculture Minister Aminur Rashid has already visited the area to inspect preparations.
