Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's latest state visit to India has added a "significant momentum" to Dhaka-New Delhi ties, said Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen, terming it the testimony of time tested friendship.
If both neighbours work together, it would be beneficial for their people, thus, ultimately bringing peace and prosperity in the entire region, he added.
Moned was talking to outgoing Indian high commissioner Vikram Kumar Doraiswami at his office on Tuesday evening.
At the meeting, the duo discussed issues of mutual interest and reaffirmed their commitment for further strengthening the excellent relations between Bangladesh and India in future.
